I just did a coolant flush on my 600rr. I refilled the coolant to the top of the rad and put some in the overflow bottle after flushing with distilled water. I left the cap off and let the bike run for a few minutes. As the temperature climbed to around 100-105 degrees all of a sudden BOOM a HUGE gush of coolant came spilling out of the top of the rad soaking everything in the immediate area. Was it a big air bubble or did i overfill it? Anyways i let it cool down and put the cap back on.
Started it back up. It starts warming up, 105, 106, 107, all the way up to 112 before i got scared enough to shut it off, half way between 105 and 112 the cap blew off a huge chunk of steam. I was expecting something to come out of the rad overflow hose but nothing happened. What have i done??
