Remember that movie, when one guy is bitten by a shark and is obviously going to die they move him out of the main shelter and in to a little hut behind it. They do this because it's a total buzz kill to everyone else and nobody wants to hear and see him die.
Does anyone else ever feel that way about the posters that come back year after year with the "Hi I am (INSERT RIDER'S NAME)'s (INSERT RELATION) and I'd like everyone to take some time to remember my lost loved one who died riding HIS/HER bike X years ago."?
I'm sorry about your loss. I think a memorial thread is appropriate and I hope it helps bring you some comfort. However, the yearly anniversary and tribute I could do without. I mean, unless you're a member of the community and a rider yourself, you're just kind of bringing the rest of us down.
I don't mean anyone specifically with this post, just a thought that's come up a few times over the years.
