No plastic/glass fuel filters?
Does anybody know why you're not allowed to use a plastic or glass fuel filter at Mission Raceway?
Can't say i've heard that one. The place to ask would be here http://www.westwoodracing.com/forums/

Anybody know why that is? I guess most bikes have stock plastic fuel filters, so somebody must have come across this before?
That's drag racing regulations. Most sportbikes that I've had (not that many mind you) have an internal fuel filter in the tank with the pump. There's external in-line plastic units available and it sounds like they want you to use the metal sleeved variety. Sounds like something that could break and end up with a gas spill and fire.
