Got the tires today and had them mounted on the rims. Couldn't wait to get them on the car. Looks pretty good... except for the little bit of 4x4 look on stock springs. Deal with that next year. Needs the 170hp chip too but does ok.
Rims are from Lakeshorewheel. On ebay for $549US + $80US s&h. Came with new lug nuts (different than OE). Fast delivery. Replicas made in Italy. Finish is very nice. Offset ET45. No rubbing on stock springs. However, if you want to save money on the tires, go with 18's. These 19's are 8J wide.
Rubber I bought are Kumho ecsta SP 235/35ZR19. Ride is a bit rougher than stock but not much. VERY quiet on the hwy but only have 50miles on them right now. Each tire is more money than each damn rim. Crazy.
Audi ET35 offset would stick out too far IMHO. Also, compared to OE rim/tire 16" combination these are much heavier unfortunately. The RS6 19" replica is 31.4lbs each without tire. With tire 56.2lbs. The OE 16" rims with Kumho snow tires are 43lbs. Hefty for sure. But keep in mind 1inch wider rim & rubber.
All it needs now is a little window tint and build the fiberglass sub enclosures in the trunk. Maybe H&R sport springs next year. Not sure yet.
