I have a 1990 FZR600 the kind that has the dual front lights that are always on regardless of Hi-Low beam.
Anyway today I went out for a ride in which I had my beams on high because I find during the day keeping my lights on high is just a good safety measure and that's just my normal habit.
Sometime early on during my ride I noticed that I couldn't see my high beam indicator light on so I flipped back and forth a few times and it didn't do anything. When I got home and got off my bike I took a look and sure enough both headlights were out.
My battery is still very strong and nothing else was dead so I opened the fuse box. Sorry for my ignorance but I couldn't tell if the fuse was dead or not but just to be safe I changed it for a spare but this didn't fix anything (they could be both dead but I can't really tell).
Is there anything else I could do without taking it into the shop (this bike is not worth enough to be dropping $200 on every small problem that comes up)? I really doubt both headlights would die at the exact same time right?
