I commute to work via bike as much as possible (parking is a pain and expensive downtown!). But on days that it is downright pouring I don't. But for those days where it is drizzly/light rain - I don't mind riding to work, but leaving my Ninja 250 parked for 8 hours exposured to the rain (my work has a locked area for motobikes, but not covered) makes me antsy.
I don't need a full bike cover (my bike has a lot of fairings), but I wanted something to cover up the exposed parts (instrument panel, throttle, clutch, indicator lights, and the seat, etc).
I was thinking of a half-bike cover... Any suggestions where to get one? I already checked ebay and they are more expensive than a full bike cover! Any other creative suggestions to protect one's bike from rain for a few hours while at work?
Interestingly, other bikes and scooters that park there don't cover up their bikes, they are just soaked during the day.
