Hello everyone. I'm new to BCSB and I'm also a new rider. I am in the process of purchasing a Red Ninja 250r 09 and will be picking it up within a week. I took Valley Driving Motorcycle School in Chilliwack. I have a Helmet, gloves, leather jacket. I never rode a motorcycle before taking the course, I have some experience on scooters (automatic kind).
I joined this forum because I hope that you guys will be able to help me whenever I am confused about something, as I only have as much information as the driving school + ICBC booklets gave about motorcycles. That might scare some, but I am very responsible and a quick learner as well. After browsing the forum and seeing the group rides you guys do, I hope that you can tolerate an extremely new rider and help him become a better and more experienced one.
I am a student at UFV, I work part time and have saved up a long time to be able to afford all this. If anyone is curious, I'm taking Criminology in hopes of getting into law school. If that doesn't work out, a Bachelor of Crim offers great potential to become a cop or border guard. Maybe in a few years I'll be that cop with the speed trap you guys are ranting about on this forum haha. Of course, I'd use my discretion when giving out tickets - I'd understand where you guys are coming from
Long introduction - I thought it would be nice.
