Now it's official, they'll start collecting toll only after 30 days of opening next month. The way I read the article, I'm not sure if they have regular cash toll and electronic toll by a transponder, OR there's no toll booth at all and record plates and transponders.
Any info if motorcycles will be exempt from toll? I don't think it's easy or even possible to install it on a bike.http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-col...pen-early.htmlFor the first 30 days, the bridge will be free for vehicles, but after that, tolls will range from $2.85 to more than $9, depending on the type of vehicle. The bridge will feature an electronic tolling system rather than toll booths, and regular users will be able to lease a QuickPass transponder to automatically deduct the toll from their account whenever they cross the bridge.
