I needed to get away. I needed to put my new tires to the test. While the rest of the world was working for the weekend, we took off for a 4 days Honda road trip.
In our wake we left a trail of little yellow stickers to mark our journey and for those riders that will come after us. For this trip we only filled our thirsty, dry tanks with premium 100% Pazzo Racing gas.

09:00 departure Highway 1 East bound to Hope
10:30 Hope Highway 3 Crows Nest through Manning Park which was riddled with tar snakes, gravel and billowing dust clouds from oncoming traffic.
12:00 Coffee in Princeton at Cowboys
14:00 Reached our first destination in Osoyoos where it was 30 degrees and decided the frigid pool at the West Ridge Motel was too inviting to continue on...
Only one ticket happy cop hanging out at the liquor store in Osoyoos who didn't like the placement of a certain license plate
Monday May 25
09:00 Departure, stopped on the way out of town for pictures overlooking the twisties.
10:30 Breakfast in Rock Creek which was questionable and obviously forgettable as I can't remember the name of the place. We left via highway 33 Kettle Valley Road to Kelowna.
12:00 Kelowna Starbucks for some much needed caffeine, I am not a morning person, don't talk to me before noon and everything will be good.
We left Kelowna knowing the hellish, stop & go traffic lights would put us in a bad mood, we did a little lane splitting and before we knew it were winding through the West Side Road to Vernon. My java kicked in and the sloped twisties with light Monday traffic put a smile back on my face. Nice road
