This is the situation.
I was due for a tune up this year so I decided to look around on the forums. I didn't need anything major done, just a simple servicing and 360 check over. I had heard/read good things about 5th gear so I decided to give them a call and book an appointment. Called them on Saturday and made an appointment for Tuesday right when they opened up. I had a friend drive out with me because I knew the shop would need my bike for a couple hours, so when I dropped my bike off I wouldn't be stranded for hours. When I got there I was full of excitement because my bike was going to be juiced up and ready for summer after this, but when I went inside I was greeted with "Yeah were closing up for the day, sorry dude."
I was absolutely livid/shocked. So I rolled back home. Instantly called Bayside Performance (why I didn't call them in the first place still boggles my mind) and made an appointment with them for the next day.
When I got there I spoke with Kevin for a minute and then tossed him the keys and they propped my bike up and went at it. Just over an hour later my bike was done, I had a new visor for my Shoei and I was off on the road enjoying the sun.
End all be all Bayside really took care of me and I really appreciate the help I got from the staff there.
Some people just know how to do good business.
Bayside rocks some serious sox.
