I'm doing a short ride this weekend with a small group to test out our equipment for our longer trip. We were going to head to Gold Bridge and re-do our trip from last year. But since it's on fire, we are going to skip it.
This (LINK) is the general area we're planning on going to, we want to head a little off the beaten path, but not spend time on goat trails or washboard gravel. Well maintained dirt/gravel is fine however as we're taking a GS 650, Vstrom 650 and two Multistrada's
I have the Caribou BC backroad book, so that's helpful. But I've learned that each of those little black roads can be VERY different.
Anyone local have any advice? Flyfishingwoman?
We're looking for good scenery, smooth enough roads and a lake with some camping, hence the marker at Kelly lake. Thanks!
