Whach u talkn bout Willis
Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge, Saint Helens, Mt Hood, NCentral Oregon, Cascades
Not sure if I should post here or general as this is the planning for our trip and I am looking for some input. I will post pictures once we return and a updated info on how the ride went.
I am not sure whether to include Hurricane Ridge as I have never done it and do not know how long it would take? We would also be going at 5pm after we get off the ferry.
41.8 mi – about 1 hour 43 mins
Hurricane Ridge to Start
155 mi – about 2 hours 51 mins
470 mi – about 13 hours 41 mins
What is the backside of Mt Saint Helens like, is it worth doing? I have only done the east side, Randle to Cougar.
Backside of Mt Saint Helens, then to Randle south for the other side of Saint Helens. Head south to Mt Hood, I have never done this section so any input on good roads would be appreciated. Then east to Redmond to stay the night.
Redmon to Condon should I take the route on the map or go on the 26?
Condon to Hepner, we did this before and it was a lot of fun but also a lot of wheat fields and not much to see. Then up to Yakima and though the Canon and stay in Elendsburg.
348 mi – about 7 hours 50 mins
Last Day (had to do 2 maps since google maps would not link the routes).
I have not done this route but looked on many webpages and this looks like a good way to go.
310 mi – about 7 hours 55 mins
Day 4 part 1
Day 4 part 2

Hurricane Ridge is well worth the ride!!! After riding up the mountain on non stop twisties you are rewarded with a spectacular view over the Olympia Mountains. Turn around and you look across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Island! Then you head back down and do the twisties all over again!
Ride it!!! ...you'll be glad you did!:-)
