The story ends here..........http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=112516
So the ICBC adjuster calls me up today and tells me that the bike is written off....actually pretty happy about that....but get THIS.....he finds out from the tow yard that the bike had actually fallen OFF the tow truck bed. I was only told that it "fell over"......'over' is a shit load different than 'off'.
About $1000 damage was done by the actual theft of the bike...the other $5000 was do to it doing a nose dive off the truck. It fell right onto the triple tree.
I went to ICBC and took off my Yoshi pipes and Pazzo levers and put the other stock ones on. To start the bike I had to jimmy the bunked up ignition with the key....it ran like crap.....guess that's what happens when it falls head first.
I did have replacement value insurance....I thought this meant that it was similar to when you have replacement for a car..........BUT OH NO!! I only get back what it would cost to replace that bike.....an 06 zx-10.....so I'll only get back 10 g's.....not quite enough to get that new Ducati 848....or R-1......guess that's what financing can be used for.
In the meantime......it's bike shopping day on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May Hellcat rest in piece and the tow truck driver burn in hell!!! hahahah
