alright so i recently made a post about a 1986 suzuki gsxr400 and that bike deffinitly looks like a bad deal compared to 'alot' of other stuff out there right now. So i am looking into some other options that are within my price range ($2000 - $2600). The best deal i have found for price to quality ratio so far seems to be a 1994 Yamaha fzr600 for $2300. the specs are this:
1994 Yamaha FZR600
Deep blue paint
k&n air filter
vance & hines exhaust
newer fork seals
recent rebuilt head with new valves
recent oil change
I would like as much input as possible before i decide to travel for 5 hours to get this bike :|
The bike has been down technically, at about 10km/h. some minor damage/scratches. ''It has an oversized rear sprocket for a little more torque not speed'' (what does this mean?)
71000kms seems pretty high.. but do you think i could get a couple to a few years out of it?
when is says recent rebuilt head with new valves.. what does this mean?
what are the newer fork seals? (are these the seals at the middle of the front forks to the front wheel?)
Do you think this bike could handle some longer trips like from vancouver to the okanagan? (altohugh its main use would be in town drives to work, ect)
thanks in advance for any info
My dream of having a bike must live on!!!!!
