A week ago I finish taking my course and not the traffic course yet, just completed my MST/MSA, whatever you want to call it! Anyways, I took the bike out with a friend that has been riding for well over 10 years and well experienced to teach me. I have well over 15 hours of practice with a 150cc bike and my own bike 2000 R6 with another 4 hours of practice in parking lots. So finally, we decided to go around the block a few times and train on it. Long story short, when I got to the last curve which had a stop sign at the end, but it was a curving lane, I was about 15Km/h and my stupidity is I pulled my front brakes, it started to wobble and I panic and the bike at the end threw me off the left side and I watched my bike hitting the side wall of the side walk! NO, I did not think it's cool, and it damn did hurt! I got up, all my motorcycle gear protected me, my helmet, my jacket with armor, my boots, my gloves... but ONE thing I didn't have wuz correct pants, I had regular jeans, I never thought it would damage me this bad, but I would like everyone to know, it gets REALLY BAD! Even when I was at only 15Km/h, I am posting this up to advice people to wear the right gear, jeans don't do crap. And after reading so many people falling, and hearing CHIA that people should post up pictures of even the slowest speed can give you quite a bit of road rash, I thought I should post this up!
Why I'm posting this isn't to show how much pain I went through, it's after reading what CHIA said, people should be aware the damage even at low speed, and 600CC is not the best bike to learn on (depends who you are, I definitely wouldn't suggest so), and last of all, wear the right gear, even the dumbest thing of pulling my front brake and not the rear cause this much!
I thought I share these picture with all of you, this hurt after the first day!
