I got tired of my shortened yosh slip ons. At first when I cut em down I was really happy with them, but after a while I just got tired of how loud they were! I think the few track days I did with them back in Ontario, coupled with my shitty packing when I was cutting them contributed to them getting louder.
So I jumped on a set of Jardine's on the Z1000 forum.
Was hoping to have these be quieter, while still looking good. Well...they look good, but they're freaking LOUD too! Shit! I was hoping to run with just these at the Pitt Meadows days and Mission, but they're almost as loud as the shorties!!
From what I've heard, carbon cans need to be repacked more often than stainless, and I think carbon pipes are just louder in general (?). So I think for next season - too lazy to do it this year - I'll have to get em repacked.
