Police have charged a 30-year-old motorcyclist whose passenger was killed after a bike crash.
A man was allegedly seen speeding down 178 Street, driving erratically, around 7 p.m. on July 13. When he reached 96 Avenue, he hit the curb and struck two trees, police said. A 20-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Some witnesses said his leg was severed off.
Curtis Chilke, 30, is facing a charge of dangerous driving causing death.
