I know there'll be a lot of debate around this (the horror of tire choices), but this will be my first autumn / winter / early spring riding in Vancouver.
I'm originally from a drier climate so no previous issues with year round riding than the usual winter prep, but I'm ready for a new set of tires (will be ordering this week from Pete's Superbike) and figure I might as well go sports touring with decent traction in wet weather. I'm riding a VTR1000, tire sizes are;
Front 120/70 X 17
Rear 180/55 X17
I'm thinking of going with Diablo Stradas - seem to have a really good write up in wet weather. Anyone have any thoughts?
