anyone use 2bros slip on for cbr600?

    hey guys,
    2 questions today.
anyone have any reviews of the 2bros slip on for cbr? looks pretty slick and sounds good but anyone actually have it?

Is a slip on difficult to install on an undertail system? I've got moderate mechanical skill and relatively unlimited time (will install in off season) so i think i could do it, but is there something crazy i should know like having to balance the engine in one hand while replacing the blinker fluid?

installing a slip on by yourself is easy. You WILL have to remove the seat, tail plastic, and right rearset. Everything else just bolts into place. Good luck and have fun!

Bandito, you've never topped up your blinker fluid? How do you get it insured??

I've heard of quality issues with the 2 bros. I've been looking at one for my kawa 650r and most on ebay are the 2 bros. On other forums they imply quality isn't great. Also, one of the cheaper exhaust slip ons out there. You get what you pay for.

Ive got the 2bros on my cbrf4i, sounds\looks awsome, Fitment is decent, although the pipe rubs the swingarm slightly when it is fully extended.

ps. no quality issues with mine, but I do grease my muffler bearings after every ride!

That's only because you posted it in New Rider's Q&A. That shit is fair game in here, and is a top notch site offering the kind of quality products that the motoring cognoscenti can really appreciate. I can personally vouch for the performance gains to be had from their flux capacitors.

Whilst following the line of discussion too.

The lowering kit on that site works MIRACLES too .... It lowered my car a good couple of inches really quickly.

IMO the 2 bros is okay.. not a big fan of their carbon fiber pattern.

I would try to find something more high end or unique. Akrapovic, Arata, Sato?

I've used a Two Brothers M2 slip-on on my SV650 for this season and I like it. I haven't found any quality issues but mine is the aluminum can (no screws have fallen off and the exterior cleans easily), so I can't comment on the carbon fibre or titanium cans.

you should get the new 2bros where you can get a badge with your race#/name on it

....don't forget to repack the muffler bearings ....
