    Great find Sat , nice to see the Canadian flag still waving for the fallen , the picture of the beach shows just how exposed the soldiers were , heroes the lot of them ..........Never Forget the simple luxuries you take for granted everyday , it was provided by the loss of many good men .

    Nice find Sat. I agree with one of the comments on that site, if they could compare a photo of an empty field back then to a present day one filled with all the grave markers, that would really drive home the human sacrifice that was made.

    Great stuff. One of the stores still operates under the name it had in 1944. I regret not touring the coast when I was in France. Good thing it's not changing much!
