I'm sure you've all heard this story, But that ridiculous 'street racing/stunt driving' law is just another reason why we have it pretty good here in B.C. compared to Ontario.
Without getting into cop bashing, you have to wonder what type of person that cop must have been to impound that woman's car on a remote highway just for speeding. And to charge her with 'stunt driving' yet when she was 1km over excessive.
But funnier yet, the comments section in the second link is comparing this woman to that chronic drunk driver/child molesters. You'd think they'd want her to go to jail for life.
What are your thoughts on Ontario's street racing law? I think it's a nightmare and hope to go that doesn't come to B.C. You could technically go to jail for 6 months and get a $10,000 fine for chirping your tires (Max fine).
