I've been riding for 35+ years and recently swapped by trusty 1984 FJ1100 for a 1999 Ducati 996. I don't usually ride in groups so I've never had to deal with a scenario I ran into on the weekend when heading south from Lilooet (the newly paved Duffy Lake Road is incredible to say the least!). I had just descended the steep hill down to the lake before the flats coming into Darcy and I caught up to a large group (10-12 bikes) of guys on cruisers ambling along at 60kmph. They were all riding in staggered formation and as a result they took up the length of 3 or 4 transport trucks. The road is all double-lined so no place to pass legally and certainly not without really exceeding the speed limit. What's the "polite" way to deal with this? Do you just weave through them? I was shocked at their ambivalence to my frustration, as well as the cars that were stuck behind me!
