What are noticeable differences if I go to a taller front tyre than stock?
My front tyre is almost done, so I picked up a D207 from Sewman for cheap...he had bought it to put on his old bike, then sold the bike before he mounted the tyres.
My stock profile is 65, this tyre that I bought is a 70 profile. Other than the obvious problem that could occur of possibly rubbing the fender (although I don't think it will)...what else could happen?
It will probably raise my front a bit, which would mean slower turn-in...am I right? Anything else? Someone told me that the profile of the tyre would also be diffrent, and that this would off-set the change of a taller front end...any truth to this?
