I have an Acura EL (basically a premium CIVIC) and it has some buzzing/vibration/rattling coming from the front dash and somewhere from the back ceiling. I looked this up online and found that many cars have this problem and the solution is to us foam or another soft material to dampen the sound, via taking apart anything that can be vibrating and adhering it to this.
I assume that I can get good foam for this at any car audio place or the foam store, but I thought I'd ask if anyone knows anyone who has actually done this, or does this? I'm sure I'm not the only car in the city to have tried to fix this.
If you, or someone you know has sound dampened an EL/Civic, please let me know, maybe it's easier to let a pro solve the problem.
