How many riding days in winter??? look here

There's many people wondering how many riding days you can get in during the winter. I had that same question last year and marked every day for four months between November 1st, 2008 and February 28, 2009
The criteria I used was: temp above 3 degrees, main roads dry for at least 2 hours during daylight hours.

    So, here you go.......

    November 16 days
    December 8 days
    January 8 days
    February 23 days

Last year Dec an Jan were the worst for snow that I can remember, so generally I would expect those months to be better. February was unreal... 23 days ... that wasn't a misprint.

So based on those numbers I can justify insuring the bike year round.

February is always decent for riding. I usually insure early Feb. We get a reprieve of the nice weather in March and everyone bitches and then we're back to decent riding weather in April.
My bike is so much faster than yours that I dare you to ride it, you lame little turd. Do you have the balls to ride this BOTTOMLESS PIT OF TORQUE?

November is always the worst month ever.

    No snow and shitty weather.

Daily Average is above zero for all months.

Snow is typical between November and March.

    Huge precipitation increase in Novemeber.

i remember the winter before last winter, I rode my bws scooter every day during November, December, January and February. Only low sided on Christmas eve on the way to work on black ice.
I'm wishing i can do the same on my new scooter once i get it with proper tires this year.

pretty sure this year there will be more riding days in the winter months if you are willing to ride like me and other people.

True, they are averages, but as far as I know, there is no better way to predict the weather.

Unless you can tell me which months will be nice next year... and when to insure my bike!
