How to get Fire arms license

Where to start? I've used google and found some answers but I'd like to know how some of you went about getting your certs. It would be nice to refer a place that does a training course or whatever is needed. Thanks in advance!

PAL licenses are for wussies. Just go to your street corner.

Yes, it does. Apart from the Weapons and Tactical Instructors/Teams (who are considered "Gun Nuts" by other cops), I have only shot with one "street" cop who took his firearm seriously, and was an excellent shooter. "Qualifying" with a box or two of 9mm/.40cal once a year with a pistol that never gets cleaned just doesn't cut it.

As long as they can aim the Tazer accurately, does it really matter?

Good question , and thank you , your IP address has now been added to the Olympic Security Watch List ......... Please do not put any signs in your window .
I can only surmise that the "2005" in your name is derived from your year of birth. You weren't born yesterday, but pretty damn close to it. - Howattzer to Phantom2005

I've gone to the Whatcom Plantation.

The prices at that indoor shooting range are outrageous but they do have larger selection.

The OP's looking for info on how to obtain his PAL firearms license, not where to shoot.
The Plantation range is a great place to shoot, however.

I did my course with Silvercore. Very professional, yet easy going course.

$195 for combined Non-restricted and restricted in a nice facility is a very, very good deal.

if ya dont mind going an extra hour or so, there's a place in Redmond that's pretty good and about half price as to what you pay at DVC here in Coquitlam with double the selection and a huge drool section in the store... that you cant buy
