    Buying bikes without registration documents

Did a search but haven't found anything.

I've checked ICBC and it's looks like I'd do a vehicle records search etc...

Anyway, has anyone actually done this? I've been looking at project bikes and there's a common theme of no reg...

A titled frame is the most valuable part of a project bike most times.

Get in touch with BCCOM and get their publication guide on buliding
    a UBUILD bike.

No reg can be bad news. Before buying get the serial number checked out. After that, find out who the actual last registered owner is. If it happens to be the guy your buying it from you're in luck. If not, thre's a long procedure you must go through with ICBC to get the frame transfered into your name. Having done this before, it's no fun. I got lucky in that the original owner didn't want the bike back so agreed to sign transfer papers over to me.
That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!
