Here's the sich:
You are riding on a deserted country road, no driveways or other incursions for miles, no living creatures ANYWHERE near. The posted limit is 60 kph and the road is 30 kms long, dead straight.
Is it morally wrong to break the law if nobody is there to see or catch you, by going 62 kph? What aboiut 65? Or 80?
This one has always troubled me, because all too often (although I DO undrestand that a law is set for the benefit/protection of the majority as well as the weakest members of society), sometimes a law just doesn't make any sense at all in the moment.
Like, again ... it's 3:00 in the morning, you're at an intersection with a red light in your direction and it's one of those lights without a vehicle sensor and the light takes 20 minutes to change. there is NOT ONE VEHICLE OR PERSON within 10 kilometers and it would be TOTALLY SAFE to proceed through the red light ... BUT for the fact that it's illegal!!
