I'm sure that most of you out there would agree that the above situation presents some serious, if not grave, concerns to all motorcyclists and the public at large, in general, who physically navigate in and through public spaces. If a young person's life, as in the above-described incident, was so tragically 'snuffed' out at such a young age and with such wishy-washy legal consequences to the individual that was, at root and BY ALL APPEARANCES TO A RATIONAL/REASONABLE PERSON - the cause of said death, then everybody should take pause and reflect on this situation.
If one were to compose a letter/petition of remonstration about the situation, which letter would then be collectively signed and forwarded to the authorities in responsible positions/offices ...
- what, exactly, are the points that you would all wish it to say/make?
- what, exactly, are the things about this situation that have you choked?
- what, exactly, should that petition's closing suggestion/request be?
I'm NOT saying I'm intending on drafting a letter, but if I or anybody esle were to do just that, then it would be good to get an idea of what it is that should be (collectively) said ...
Post up, but be reasonable, rational and respectful ... !!
