All that comes to mind is "Autobots...rollout!"

Love the styling of this beast (well, except for the exhausts). Sounds like a nice bike!

Who cares about the exhaust? First part to be ripped off the bike anyway. NICE machine

Saw it in Seattle this past Friday, I think they did a great job.

I also think the orange & white scheme looks excellent.

Kawi made this new model looks "beefier", more robust, than the old version, but still kept the sharp aggressive lines, well done IMO.

I honestly don't mind the exhaust that much.....huge improvement over previous models.

the more I see this bike the more I like it.
    I just read that linkhttp://www.motorcycle-usa.com/159/52...vid=1172957970

wow new from bottom up. I had read somewhere they used a beefed up zx9 motor and after watching the trailer I was like "meh"
dude / rider couldn't wheelie his way out of a wet paper bag.

reading the above review with much better wheelie picts makes me rethink this a bit.
not sure about the inline 4... I need ass whopping torque
I would lose the stock exhaust on almost every bike. This one would be gone right away.

hopefully I can test ride one this coming spring.
I wouldn't mind building one off an old zx10.
I know the older zx10 could bolt on z1000 plastics.

Glad to see Kawasaki pull their socks up with new bikes.
    They sucked for too long.

I liked the looks, but found it a very tight fit at the Seattle Motorcycle show. Cramped my knees within a minute of sitting on it. I think it is a combination of the high rearset pegs, but low seat height. Didn't work for my 6'1" frame.

yeah I don't have that problem at 5'8" on a good hair day... not many of those anymore. ;p
it'll probably fit me good. I'm not sure if it would be enough motor though.

my sprint's motor is nice... but the whole thing is a little too girthy for me.

I want something the size of a gsxr 750 only with a busa motor in it
and a naked hooligan macheen. do I ask for too much?

maybe next year they'll do it like the ps3. lol.
way more in a smaller box...

I like the look, unfortunatly the bikes short comings become dangerously apparenty when pushing the bike at a good pace. Fine for communting though. I had the 2003.

My old one looks better IMO.

Kawi seems to have addressed the shortcomings, which is why this is looking pretty good IMO.

The stuff I have read to date, has been pretty positive, but as always, will wait till they get reviewed in greater detail.

Fact is, there are not a whole lot of choices for new, somewhat affordable, sporty nakeds.

People should not be comparing this with any of the supersports, cuz it aint one, simple.

Its not a bad looking bike, its got a very Euro custom fighter look to it. Just a little overdone imo. Its a good base for some custom work though. I just prefer he starkness of the original.

Its very similar looking to the Aprilia FV2 Concept bike.

It's not a regular fork set-up, it uses control arms.
