So I have thrown a few gs into the DRZ over the winter, makin' her shiny and pretty after the escapades of the last summer or two. I got some trick new brakes, fancy new bits, some odds and ends and figure it's time for some go fast parts. I'm planning out my engine mods, trying to figure how I can justify sending my motor to Eddie on TT, and an opportunity presents itself.
So I go ahead and take this opportunity to add an 06 Honda CRF450R to my garage. I figure that solves my go fast issue. Then I hear about this whole inspection bullisht, and there goes my plans!
So what does a guy do.
1.) Sell the CRF and buy some Marchesinis and go fast bits for my DRZ?
2.) Keep the CRF and spend some $$ over time converting it for the track with the possibility I can never street it?
3.) Trade the CRF for another SM that I could use on the road; maybe even something my wife could ride (WR250X another DRZ?)
Keep in mind, I love the DRZ way too much to sell it so it would take some time to get the CRF converted
Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
