Basically my question is how the police view elderly drivers, i personally think they are a danger to the public and should undergo more scrutiny than the average driver. Say, after 65 annual testing and off the road entirely at 80.
(I don't know if this regulated already so please inform me otherwise)
My granparents used to debate this issue with me all the time (respect your elders, we fought for our country, etc,etc)
Tell that to people that get run down by granny because the sun was in her eye or she can't see over the steering wheel.
I can't tell you how many times i've been behind someone that i thought was drunk, only to pass them and see grandma trying to drive.
