    Leather Repair Specialist

Is there anyone local we have that takes care of leather suit / gear repair? I mean someone who has experience repairing leather stuff for motorcyclists (our repairs are not just cosmetic).

I don't know about Mission, but last season there were lots of dudes out at our mini races with duct taped gear that looks ugly and isn't safe.

I got to thinking about this after I saw this thread on BARF, and surely there must be someone like this around here.

    Racers, care to chime in?

Rosso, I'm looking for a good repair place too. Last season, I got into a bad get off and the ambulance attendants cut my leathers off me. they cut along the seams, but it needs to be stitched back up properly so it doesn't split in another get-off.

I've heard that original leather factory on Boundary is supposed to be quite good, but I'll wait for others to chime in actual safety repairs and not just cosmetic stuff.

He's a little old Italian guy who mainly specializes in custom drag race suits. He was able to repair my Spyke leathers to the point it was hard to tell they were even damaged, and they were missing the right lower sleeve from mid elbow down.
He installed two new heavy duty zippers, repaired all the seams that needed it and rebuilt the sleeve for $210

I've had alterations and repairs done on 3 of my jackets at The Original Leather Factory and found them to do very very good work and no hassle for me. I've heard others have had not such a great time but mine was very pleasant.
