Got a quick question.
Lets say I am driving, and some guy has been tailgating me, or cutting in and out of traffic causing a havoc. If i call 911 and report the guy, does the cop actually do anything? Here my incident long time ago, LONG TIME AGO.
Once upon the time, buddy and I was driving on OAK st Bridge. A Suzuki SUV was driving in between the lines. SO i honked at him..Suzuki proceed to drives recklessly cutting people off in heavy traffic with no signal. After been honked several times by me and other drives, he stopped the traffic on a green light, on a one lane street, got out of his car..and kick my door in, than fled the scene. I called the cop, gave them the description of the car and plate number. Then follow him for a good 10 minutes. Eventually we came across a squad car, and the squad car was actually driving beside us for a while but did not stop the car....
How does the police react to "complaint" calls on reckless drivers. Do they even key their plates so the be stopped eventually ? Or the just arrive at the scene (road) and if the reckless driver didn't break any law while in the cop's sight NOTHING will be done.
