As we all know… running around the track is not just sitting in the saddle and twisting the throttle. It’s physically taxing hanging off the side of a bike. Maybe the experts have such clean technique that it’s completely effortless, but for the rest of us, you get a pretty good sweat going before the end of the session.
With a few months before the riding season starts up again, I am hoping someone out there might have a work out routine geared toward motorcycle road racing. Despite going to the gym and being in pretty good shape last season, the track really took it out of me.
There are work outs for all kinds of specific sports that target the muscles used for that sport, skiing, skating, basketball, etc. I wonder if anyone out there knows of a road racing work out or has the knowledge to construct one?
