Ok so there was a huge writeup done for officers using the speed cameras before it was taken out of enforcement. not allowed within xxx distance of change of speed sign, not allowed on a down hill or the bottom of the hill, same with the top of the hill, not allowed on corners, cant remember the rest but I would like to know what the regs are for an officer to set up their speed traps nowadays.
ie: officers thought it would be smart to set up at the end of the off ramp going onto the mary hill from the new pitt bridge. That is a seriously dangerous place to set up, 80 -60 -40 within a 100meters for speed limits, not to mention the drastic bump and the end of the ramp.
Someone wrote in to the paper calling it "dirty pool" since it was just opened when it happened.
So are you guys supposed to follow any regulations on this? if so where can they be found?
