Selling because due to finding an Aprilia Mille that I want.
Extremely reliable, no leaks and no issues. It has never failed to start and has never left me stranded. When I've had to purchase items, AF1 in Texas had them here in 4 days.
You certainly won't be seeing yourself at every stop light ....... I've owned it since new and have only seen 1 other Tuono on the road.
Comfortable enough for all day runs, tons of fun in the city and twisties but excellent to commute on with the upright seating, wide handlebar and heated grips.
One problem with the Aprilia's has been the infamous "brown connector" that gives electrical issues. This one has been monitored, cleaned and has had dielectric grease in it since new ....... never any sign of a problem.
Since break in mileage was done the bike has been run on full synthetic that was changed every 5000 km.
Flapper valve and charcoal canister removed.
Brakes and clutch systems flushed and bled twice a year. No issues there.
Forks and rear suspension have just been serviced.
Full maintenance log.
Charcoal and black with silver frame, blue wheels.
Always parked inside but ridden year round, rain or shine.
Great stuff that comes standard on Tuonos:
Braided steel brake and clutch lines.
Radial Monobloc Brembo calipers.
'Fatty' anodized gold handlebars.
Cast OZ wheels.
Extras are as follows:
Seat cowl and passenger seat included.
Oxford heated grips.
Stebel Nautilus air horn.
Pazzo shorty levers ..... engraved with "Tuono" and last 3 numbers of VIN.
CRG foldable bar end mirrors.
16/42 gearing w/ gold DID chain.
Double bubble tinted windscreen.
Two sets of pipes - 1 is stock with the cats removed, the other is fully cored.
ECU on Map 2 and tuned for running the cored pipes.
Rhinomoto frame sliders and bar ends.
Aprilia tail tidy - still running all rear reflectors and has white license plate light for legality.
Aprilia branded handguards off an SVX 5.5.
A set of Aprilia service manuals.
Exhaust has just been wrapped.
All stock parts and items that were removed come with the bike. BTW, those Akrapovic decals on the pipe are just E-Bay specials there to piss off a buddy who paid $1300 for the real thing.
Better pictures to follow.
