This is my 1980 Suzuki GS400 for sale. I've had it for a year and it taught me how to ride, and I must say this bike is perfect for new riders or someone looking for a small commuter bike. It has an exceptionally small turning radius, it's very light, and yet the engine is torquey enough to make longer highway cruises possible.
The odometer originally showed 56,000KM when I bought it but I have since swapped the gauges for American ones, which are in much better condition, although they show lower miles.
Mechanically it's awesome. The engine runs strong, it has a brand new battery, new (year old) tires, chain & sprocket. Carbs are fully cleaned out, the valves had just been adjusted and the spark plugs make brilliant blue spark. The charging system works great (13VDC-14VDC above 2000RPM) and everything electrically works. Headlight, turn signals, oil light, gear indicator, neutral light, horn, brake light, you name it, it works. This is literally a turn key bike; pay for it and you can ride it home no problem.. Snow and ice permitting
Body wise, it's missing one side cover, there's some dings, and the tank has some scratches. It's pretty but it isn't perfect. At least you won't cry over broken plastics if you drop it! It also comes with a year old windshield and handlebar mounts.
It's a very cheap bike to run, easily gets 45+ mpg, and only cost me $50 a month on insurance as it stays under that 500cc threshold.
Thanks for looking and ride safe.
