So how you do you do it? I've been riding and racing track now since 2004 and am wondering how you break-in your leathers? I know that using it on the track works, but some suits break-in much faster than others.
My old Spidi leathers, unfortunately, were cut off of me in my last track crash, so I had to get a replacement suit. I picked up an Alpinestars trigger, which is very close to the SP1. This suit is HEAVY compared to the spidi and the leather seems thicker. It's also gonna take much longer to break-in.
So here I sit typing this, wearing the damn thing. I'm going for a run on my treadmill in the suit in a little while too. So what have you done in the past to help accelerate suit break-in? I'm riding Thunderhill in 2 weeks, so I'd like to make this suit as comfortable as possible by then.
