I am a bit confused.
BCSportBikes bulletin board software is more up to date than ADV Rider.
ADV rider is still using 2007 technology vs bcsportbikes 2010 version.
Yet HTML code is disable on bcsportbikes.
This I believe restrict embedding youtube video in posts.
With the switch of YouTube from Flash to Html5, I would imagine that any kind of restrictions due to flash security is now invalid.
As far as I understand the Streaming of the video is from youtube servers, so it should not impact the bcsportbikes servers response time etc ...
No offence but ADVRider traffic is a wee bit higher than BCSportbikes too.
I found it annoying to be taken out of this forum for each video I may want to look at.
And lets face it, but there are more and more youtube posts each and everyday. I for one would like to start posting youtube ride reports.
Thanks to CHIA tip on a cheap HD video camera, the number os youtube post as increase quite a bit lately, and as the season gets under way, it should just get bigger and bigger.
