Pictured are bar risers for my C14. These are made of 6061 T6 billet aluminum, then powder coated.
They are a solid block with the mounting holes going all the way through.
These are 1 3/4 inches high and I'd like to cut each one in to a 1" and a 3/4" (or less whatever's left after the cutting) piece. I could probably butcher them with a metal blade on my Sawzall, but there has to be a more elegant solution than that.
Ideally I'd be left with two pieces that I could put together to have full height, or only 1" or only 3/4". If I have to sacrifice part of each that's fine as what I really want is the 1" height.
Can anyone tell me the best way to cut these leaving them able to match back up, and who could do that....
