    tank vent hose

    guessing it was the cold that did it but my tank vent hose broke off at the nub today. going to replace it tomorrow but was wondering what happens when you dont? atmosphere gets in a rusts out the tank? water in the fuel?

    It's pretty small and has pressure from behind so I don't think water would get in but fuel vapour or fuel itself venting out could end up on you. Best to replace it.
    That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!
