I was reading this document and noticed the first line in the document was this:
CANADIAN CHARTER OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS
Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:
WTF does this mean?
Canada being the politically correct country it is has gone to great lengths to remove as many references to GOD as possible in our daily lives.
Yet apparently our laws are based on a religious faith of an all seeing invisible man in the sky?
This seems so contradictory I don't know where to begin.
Our laws and justice system work on proof of facts and evidence.
Yet our law system accepts the existence of God based on faith without evidence or proof.
Does anyone else find this confusing and hypocritical?
