I'm in need of a career change, I've been working as a sound designer for 12 years and now it looks as if my industry has died a slow and painful death. Now I'm 33, broke, and facing a career change.
I've been looking into the motorcycle mechanic course at BCIT and was wondering if anyone had taken it, or can expound on the day to day life of a bike mechanic. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
I have been wrenching on my CB750 for a few years now, and am building a CB550 cafe racer from a destroyed bike. So far so good, I enjoy learning and spinning wrenches. Currently I find working on the bike very fun and enjoyable, but I fear making it my profession would suck all the fun out of it.
