ABBOTSFORD (NEWS1130) - A few weeks ago a motorcyclist riding despite a 50 year driving ban was nabbed by police on a stolen bike. And this week it happened again.
RCMP Sgt Gord Elias says earlier this week police spotted the stolen motorcycle with stolen plates travelling on Highway one in Abbotsford. They followed it to a restaurant parking lot in Clearbrook, where they arrested 36 year old Pierre Gino Guidotti.
Elias: "What was really concerning for us, yet again, was this person had numerous prohibitions against him driving--the longest being a 50 year driving prohibition from the Superintendant of Motor Vehicles. This is the second time in three weeks this has happened."
The other incident was in Pitt Meadows, where another man on a stolen motorcycle was arrested. He also had under a 50-year driving prohibition.
