So, I see all of the threads continuously riding from Van to Squamish, and bee lining for the Starbucks.
Well, there are other destinations!
One of the neatest is a new spot on Cleveland Avenue: La Petite Burrow. A spawn of the Burrow tapas place up in Garibaldi Highlands, this little (and I mean little) hole in the wall has a charming back deck that looks up at the big stone itself.
I was in there the first time the other day, and I thought the place had a lot of character. Very nice girl behind the bar as well, and she was also suffering from terminal hotness (now I have your interest!).
There is M/C parking in the back, I think. If you want to try it for coffee, head down either Logger's Lane (the Squamish Autobahn) or Cleveland Avenue. Look for La Petite Burrow, on your right or left respectively. If you can't find it, circle around till ya do. It's right on the main drag of downtown, across from the Cheiftan Hotel with the famous sign.
I do not have anything to do with these guys, other than my opinion it looks like the kind of business I would like to see do well in my adopted hometown.
Tomorrow, I am gonna ride down there. Then back to my place. Bout noon.
