There is an Amsoil distributor in PCoq or Coquitlam that sells cheaper than CT. I spoke to him a while back and he sells it by the case. I think its an autoshop.
...but they're literally GIVING it away for free in the gulf of mexico right now...
"I dread beyond all else the growth of the petty tyranny of restrictive legislation, the transference of disciplinary authority from the judiciary to the constabulary, the abandonment of every constitutional safeguard of individual liberty."

AMSOIL 20w50 V-twin motor oil for sale, I can't list the price here, selling it for way too cheap, call for price. Ask people how good Amsoil is, I use it on my Harley Davidson since day one, the temperature drops at least 30F on a hot summer day, it is great for air cooled motor. You can run this in all 3 holes, engine, primary case and transmission on most EVO, Twin cam 88 and 96 motors. Call 604-937-3688 / 604-813-9818 Alex
For Softail standard Fatboy Deluxe Nightrain Rocker Heritage, Sportster, Dyna Super glide custom wide glide, Touring Roadking Electra glide Streetglide Roadglide Ultra Classic etc.
go to Amsoil.com, sign up as a preferred customer, and it's about $10

Thanks for copy-pasting from my post. I'm flattered.
If you had read it properly though, you'd realize that the looser classification for "synthetics" is US-market only. Mobil 1's "Full Synthetic" and "SuperSyn," including the motorcycle specific MX-4T and the V-Twin stuff, are API Class IV synthetics. I'd like to see where you got your information for their synthetics testing at the "bottom of the barrel".
Mobil 1 is definitely a PAO synthetic and among the best you can get. Truth be told, oil is oil and the various category IV synthetics preform similarly. The rest is marketing, branding, and evangelism.
To clarify, the 'synthetic' definition that includes category III base oils is not US only. Castrol Syntec and Pennzoil Platinum are good examples of hydrocracked category III oils that are sold as full synthetics in Canada. There are similar products on offer in Europe. This isn't a trick or anything, it's like any other product on the planet, there are varying levels of quality within a product category and various manufacturers at each quality level all claiming that theirs is the best.
The whole thing works very similarly to the beer industry. The content of the bottle is functionally the same, so you end up buying the label while the manufacturers strive to make a big deal out of very minor differences.
