Are there many golfers around here?
Do you have a favourite instructor that you follow or a method such as a One Plane or Two Plane swing? (or others)
As a right handed golfer, do you use your left hand as the dominant or lead hand?
Any You Tube video's that you use to learn tips?
Are you tired of golf magazines having one instruction article that will say one thing and then have a contradicting article just 3 pages along?
Which course do you think is a good value, be they executive or full length?
Have you ever been properly fitted for clubs or are they off the rack?
I have been using the Two Plane swing, a high hands, almost vertical backswing as it is my natural blueprint for swinging a club. Think of Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Ricky Barnes or Lorena Ochoa. There are a few books and DVD's on this method.
On You Tube, a teacher out of Ontario named Shawn Clement has some great golf videos for instruction and tips. www.shawnclementgolf.com has a catalogue of vides and articles or go to You Tube and put in his username of clemshaw.
I like Fraserview as it is open 12 months per year due to the good drainage, and Mylora (Sidaway) is fun and cheap, especially the twilight rate which easily allows for 18+ holes. Redwoods in Langley, the Palmer course in Whistler is a great course set in nature.
I bought my clubs off the rack after a lot of research but did recently have the lie angles and grip sizes checked by a pro.
