Nearly hit an old man...
Was riding through some of the Langley backroads with my dad today... thankfully I was pacing him and not doing the twists like I normally would on a ride with other sports. Hit a corner at Harley speed and nearly run square in to an old man who was walking 3/4 the way in the lane... I guess he didn't think the shoulder was wide enough to walk next to his friend.
I was just lucky there wasn't any oncoming and I could swerve over the centre, could of been nasty if there was any real speed involved.
Be careful on those back roads guys, its not just cars, deer, rabbits, trucks, oil, mowers, gravel...
One thing you really need to watch out for is Bicyclists, they share the lane with motor vehicles and will always be a ways out.
