I have two questions for a LEO or someone else who has knowledge of this stuff:
I was driving up north on friday night at Cache Creek (on my way to 100 Mile) in my car. I was caught speeding by a police officer who was driving in the opposite direction (south, towards me). As we were about to pass each other his lights started flashing and he turned around and came after me so i pulled over and he gave me the ticket. He stated I was doing 129 in a 100 zone and that he caught me on radar.
1. Do police cars have the ability to radar someone who is moving head-on towards them? keep in mind he was also driving on the highway himself at likely 100+kms
2. If I dispute this ticket would I have to go all the way up to Cache Creek (or the nearest courts to it) for the hearing? is there any chance I would be able to get the hearing moved to a lower mainland court?
